Exodus: Ch. 1 - God Remembers The Forgotten

When life is filled with pain it can be easy to think God is either unloving, uninterested, or simply not powerful enough to do anything about it. However, scripture shows us that when things appear dark to us, God is busy setting his perfect plans into motion. This is certainly the case in Exodus 1 when the people of God are faced with the horrific actions of a cruel Pharaoh. The same God works powerfully in our lives to bring about freedom so we can enjoy closeness with Him.
