Exodus: Ch. 2 - Introducing Moses, a Sinner Saved by Grace
It’s been said that apart from Jesus, there is no greater figure in the entire Bible than Moses. However, scripture makes no effort to hide Moses’s flaws. The boy hidden in the basket grows to be a man who tries to run ahead of God with devastating results. Rather than pushing him aside, God responds to Moses with immeasurable grace as he continues to work on the character of the man chosen to set his people free. The early life of Moses shows us that sometimes what we see as a mess in our lives is actually evidence of God’s preserving power at work.
