Don’t Confuse God’s Jealousy With Insecurity
Exodus's 7th, 8th, and 9th plagues are an even greater escalation in the conflict between God and Pharaoh. God is adamant about his people being freed, but this freedom is not without purpose. God desires their worship because he is a jealous God. But does this mean God suffers from some cosmic insecurity?

While in Exodus and through the first plague, God’s judgement flows through a river turned to blood. In Jesus, God’s grace flows through the blood of his son.
