The Holy Spirit Produces a Generous Spirit

There’s something inside of us that pushes back against generosity. The old nature, which can be traced back to the sin and rebellion of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden, tries to convince us that God cannot be trusted and to take matters into our own hands. The new nature, given through Jesus and ‘sealed’ with the Holy Spirit, grows faith inside of us, faith that produces both joy and generosity.
